A Fake Website is Misleading Public about Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2025

A fake website link is circulating on social media, claiming that the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2025 has started accepting applications, with over 88,000 people already receiving free laptops. However, this claim is entirely false and an attempt to deceive users through a fake website. The website in question asks users to provide personal information, including their name, educational background, and laptop model. Government officials have confirmed that this website is fake. Official government actions under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme are always taken through authentic websites, which end with “http://gov.pk.” whereas the fake website ends with “.ba14.top” which does not match any government domain. This is not the first time fake websites have attempted to deceive the public. Previously, on August 12, 2023, the Prime Minister announced plans to provide 1 million smart phones, tablets and laptops to intelligent students, but fake links circulated, collecting personal information from people in the name of registration. So, be cautious! Do not provide personal information on such links and only register through authenticated government websites. To verify the authenticity of any scheme, visit the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme official website or obtain information from credible government sources. #fakenews #PMLaptopScheme #PrimeMinisterYouthProgramme #LaptopDeals #ShahbazSharif #Pakistan #Fakenewsalert
