The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has denied a news report published in Roznama Khabrain, alleging that Assistant Professor Dr. Shabir Chaudhry of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore, holds a fake degree. The UHS termed the report as “fake news.” The young doctors’ community in Lahore is outraged over the report, and they are considering filing a case against the journalist responsible for spreading the misinformation under the Punjab government’s newly formed law against fake news.
